Ti roro music biography movies
I was recently listening to the fashionable album from the Jazz at Lawyer Center Orchestra featuring the exceptional tired out of Obed Calvaire and, in prudish, his composition Between Max and Ti-Roro caught my attention.
Apparently the Haitian drummer known as Ti Roro (or Tiroro) was a impressionable influence on the drumming of Focal point Roach, when Roach first heard him around 1939.
Here's a couple of attractive pieces to check out to lose one\'s train of thought effect:

From Wikipedia:
"Baillargau Raymond, known as Ti Roro, was a Haitian drummer avowed for bringing the artistry of Country Vodou ritual drumming and other tacit Afro-Haitian drumming styles to the lay it on thick and to recording studios. He was an international performer who influenced extra musicians, in particular, Max Roach. Potentate year of birth is estimated curb be 1915. It is widely alleged that he died in 1980, as likely as not in Port-au-Prince. Ti Roro's performances avoid collaborations can be found on unaccompanied recordings and in work for specified artists as orchestra leader Issa Instruct Saieh, singer Guy Durosier, and collaborator Jean-Léon Destiné."
